“a sum of all my parts”

For the past 10 years I’ve worked privately and contractually as a Screenwriter, Conceptual Writer, Director, Art Director, Content Creator, Cinematographer, Editor, Sound Designer and Composer.

Since the early days of my career, I’ve endeavoured to work in every department film has to offer to gain insight and the ability to communicate my vision in multiple tongues. Often referred to as a Swiss Army knife or one-man-band, collaboration is at the heart of every project I encounter.

In the past I’ve written and directed a handful of short films ranging from 10 minutes to 48 minutes that have been entered into film festivals around the world. After moving to Berlin in 2019 to pursue my careers in both film and music, I’ve aligned more with the role of Art Director for various fashion labels, music videos and creative corporate clients. A love for documentary filmmaking has always been in my wheelhouse but was executed most recently for a state funded exhibition about Berlin suburb Kottbusser Tor entitled Kotti Island, where I was the project lead on creating short films about businesses in the area and it’s melting pot of inhabitants.

To every project I try to bring a balance between the poetic and the pragmatic. My experiences in the role of 1st AD has given me a keen sense of structure and my relationship with music emerges in my perception of timing when writing or editing for the screen.
